Ancient Roots Israel (ARI) is the first international herbal conference and community in Israel. We aspire to cultivate and strengthen our local herbal community and connect to similar communities abroad. We are pleased to offer quality programing in English, to share the beauty and wisdom of our ancient ancestors with both our local community and the world.
We believe in #plantsoverpolitics, so you will never see our conference used to push political agendas. Herbal medicine is people’s medicine, #herbalmedicineispeoplesmedicine, and herbalists learn to heal without regard to political agendas. All people are truly welcome at ARI.
ARI2020, our premiere international herbal conference, was held on February, 9-11, 2020, coinciding with the Jewish holiday of Tu B’shvat (“the birthday/new year of the trees”). ARI2023 was held on Jan. 22-24, 2023, Rosh Chodesh Shvat (“the new moon, a woman’s monthly holiday/ first day of the Hebrew Month of Shvat”). Both conferences were held at Ana Poriya, a resort near the sea of Galilee in northern Israel. Each conference has hosted nearly 100 participants from Israel and abroad. (See videos below.)
Our next conference will be held VIRTUALLY (online only, due to the war) this March 10-12, 2024 which is Rosh Chodesh Adar Bet. Please save the date and register here!
